Ambient Rhythm is updated on Tuesday and Friday

I went back to work yesterday, but it wasn't as hard as I was expecting. In some ways, it was quite gentle, which is good. After close to two weeks of holiday, I was feeling rather out of practice at working ;)

I've actually finished all the internal pages for Looking for the Sun volume 4 now. I'm working on the cover, and not really looking forward to doing the backgrounds. The characters are fun, though. I'm having a bit of trouble with one of the omake - I can't get the ending to work right. But I have time yet ^^ I also found some very funky things to read while desperately scouring the internet for a decent quote to bung in the back of the book, most notably this paper ("JRR Tolkein and CS Lewis in light of Hans Urs Von Balthasar." No, I have never heard of Von Balthasar before, although he sounds interesting). It's got a fascinating description of how myth and legend, fairy tales and storytelling and faith were all interwoven for both Lewis and Tolkien, and how their creativity didn't just coexist with their belief in God, but was a necessary part of how they lived as believers (so don't read it if you don't like religious stuff!). I don't think I've ever read a theology text quite so interesting. It really resonated with me :)

Moonshadow's playing Atelier Iris. He has been for the past several days, interrupted only by food, sleep and work. I will shortly be able to sing the entire soundtrack in my sleep... ;)
