"A Fantasy Boardgame with Everything"

w00t! Double w00t! And, dare I say it, triple w00t!

*cough**calmsdownalittle*

After searching for this through the loft, garage and back room I finally found it in the back of my cupboard with the rest of my games  >.<

Eww.. leetism's. Still - Kings and things is fantastic.  Simple gameplay and far too silly to worry overmuch about strategy (which there is some of)  Recruit creatures each turn based upon how many things you own, trade some gold in for a better chance to t a leader and hope your opponent doesn't notice that you don't actually control any deserts.

A hexagonal grid made up of randomly selected hex tiles of different terrain types from which (if I remember correctly) you recruit your 'armies'...  This is where the 'Things' come in.

The title on the front of the box actually has an asterisk beside the Things with the footnote text partially hidden by the title itself.  I'll try to copy as much as I can here:

Wizards & Gypsies & Centaurs & Mammoths & Pythons & Condors & Clerics & Barons & Basilisks & Dukes & Rubies & Buffalo & Pirates & Unicorns & Dervishes & Castles & Sphinxes & Cyclopses & Diamonds & Knights & Trolls & Ogres & Eagles & Walruses & Assasins & Thieves & Penguins & Apes & Ivory & Citadels & Silver & Raccoons & Wasps & Bigfoot & Deerhunter & Vines & Lions & Elephants & Ice bats & Griffons & ...

To name but a few :)

I'll bring it along the next time I head Cambridge-wards and I'm hoping some people would like a game...

CategoryGames.  Specifically, it's a BoardGame.
