Artifaxis is updated on Tuesday and Friday

I'm aware that the strip has been quite slow recently. I've been trying to fit more into a page but that doesn't always work, leaving the pace feeling fairly lethargic, which is bad. On the other hand, drawing more than 2 pages a week has proved to result in the page - well, the third one at least - looking worse than usual. It's clear I can't manage a normal webcomic pace on two pages per week, though. So, a question. Which of the following options is better?

First, I could keep the setup as it is. The story will continue to be slow; I'll keep trying to improve the pacing. Art standard should remain the same or improve.
Second, I could go back to how it was before - two updates a week, but as many pages per update as needed to move the story along. Obviously this'll be quicker; it also lends itself to sprawling, storywise, but I'll try and keep on top of that. The art will probably not be so good.
Third, I could switch to three updates a week and keep each update at one page. That would help restrict the story, and keep it moving, hopefully. The art will again not be so good, and there will be updates which aren't as 'punchy' as others are.

Opinions? Perhaps I should switch to black and white, like Looking for the Sun. Multiple updates would be easy then ^^;;
