| 'English Magic' is basically an excuse to make puns on the names of teas. It was conceived and drawn to enter the Neo magazine manga contest, 2006. I find it very hard to come up with short stories, never mind 5-page ones, so when the concept of magical girl demolition squads was mentioned (at WednesdayAnime, I believe), I ran with it. And what could be more English than for them to be named for teas? |
