"No," Inric says, looking away from Ylva. "The library was run by people from every clan." "Where are they now?" "The library was abandoned ten years ago." "But you came back," Ylva points out. "Will other people come back?" "I think that is highly unlikely." "Why? Aren't they interested in reading the books?" "Given the evidence, I would assume that they are not." Inric shuts the book he was reading and puts it down on the desk. Ylva stares around at the room - just one of many, all full of books. "That's so weird," she says. "I can't imagine not wanting so many books!" And he can't quite hold back a smile despite the uncomfortable topic of conversation.
