Anvar doesn't reply, and Inric looks away, unable to think of anything else to say. But after a moment, his nephew pushes to his feet and raises a tearstained face.
"So why are you writing a report about it?" he demands.
"It would also be wrong to do nothing." That at least is a question Inric knows the answer to. Anvar looks surprised.
"So you think..."
"You were right to flag the potential for a traitor to have been involved," Inric says, appreciating the chance to explain. "This isn't proof, but it is highly suggestive. The Wyrte should know, given the renewed contact wth Kasith-Varouin."
Anvar starts, his face shocked. "The - the whole clan was involved?!"
"Arathinien An-Gelethen was known for his loyalty to his clan," Inric says. "He may have taken matters into his own hands, or he may have been following orders. I will file the report in the appropriate place in the library, but you should take it to the Wyrte."
