The moon is full over the Orderhouse that night, but it is late enough that few windows glow with candle light. Inside the room that Inric once occupied, the moon shines onto the empty bed. The bed is empty, but the room has an occupant; Aldus nods in the corner, his arms around the book. He is almost asleep when the air shimmers and the Seer appears, with the small creature looking alert by his feet. Before either man can say or do anything, the little beast is over by Aldus, standing on his hind legs to nudge and purr at the book.
