That night, Kelyn pushes open the door of the room given to her and peeks out cautiously. The library is silent. Nobody is watching. She goes to the next door along and eases it open.
"Jory?"
The small space inside is very similar to her own room. Jory is lying in the bed, still asleep.
"At least you're not green any more," she tells him. "I suppose Brother Aldus was right. I've never seen anyone like him before... Where
are we?"
She sits down on the floor, back against the bed. "How do we get back? Should we go back? But all my tools are in your wagon! And there's so much I want to try! But I'm still not sure about Lethey." She pauses, but Jory doesn't reply. "Do you think Inric would be up for a collaboration?"
Inric, seated in the records room writing, sneezes.
