"I was beginning to think you'd lost your way," Hian grouses when the wizard eventually comes into sight. She stands up from the tree she'd been leaning against and holds out the headband and veil. "Here, I got these for you," she says. "Put them on."
The wizard hesitates. "I have nothing I can offer -"
"Put them on!" Hian snaps, suddenly angry. "It's not for you, it's for -" she waves a hand, "for everyone! It's only been 30 years! You can't just walk in and expect people not to recognise what you are! We went to war because of you!"
