He hides his face behind his hands again, and Aneth sighs. If it had been Anvar, she would have given him a hug, but her prickly brother-in-law probably wouldn't appreciate it.
"It seems a bit unfair," she says, and Invar raises his head to look at her through his fringe. "It's the people who do bad things, but the place which gets the bad name."
"It is a place where those things have happened," Invar says stubbornly. "An institution which permitted them. Protected them, even."
Aneth sighs. "Invar, you can leave the Library if you want to. Nobody would consider you at fault for doing so."
