This strip's subtitle, if it had one, would be 'Adding insult to injury.' There are a couple of new UK cons this summer - well, Wildercon isn't quite new, but it's new enough :) The other is Amecon, which is held in Leicester, and we're going to both. Both are nice and cheap; Wildercon is held at a scout campsite, and Amecon in Leicester University (one of the Halls of Residence, to be precise). The one drawback, of which I hadn't thought when considering universities as places to hold conventions, is the lack of double rooms, but then, we only get a double tent at Wildercon because we bring our own, so whatever ^.^ - Sun Kitten, 10th February '04 |
