This was born in the summer of 2011, from a challenge to create on the theme of Truth. The members of the group who posed and tried to respond to the challenge (Eden Arts) are Christian artists from a variety of disciplines, and this was my contribution. I suspect it shows rather too much of my biases, but there you go ;)
The story was entered into the Yeovil Literary Prize 2016, in their rather wonderful "Writing Without Restrictions" category, and I am incredibly pleased that it placed third ^^
