"I am busy with my research," Anvar states, pointing at the pile of books on the table.
"So I see," Inric manages, wondering what is expected of him.
"I don't need your help." If anything, Anvar looks more annoyed now.
"Good," Inric says, because it is good when a student can get to grips with their work on their own. But Anvar's expression darkens, and he stalks off to the shelves, leaving Inric with the distinct impression that he said something wrong.
Outside, Colle sighs, relieved at the lack of a further outburst. "That went better than I expected."
