"You said you saw him, Brother?" Cyrward asks Aldus. "After he died?"
"I did, but I didn't look at him closely. They brought him here, but once I told them he was definitely dead, they took him away again."
"You didn't look for wounds or anything?" Cyrward persists. Aldus spreads his hands in a shrug.
"It's not polite to go poking around corpses. Not when their friends are watching. Anyway, he was very old, so I thought it was a natural death. There was no blood that I noticed."
