He doesn't just point her to the wall, where his little creature is snuffling animatedly, balanced on the tiny stubs of stone sticking out from the sheer face, he does something which makes the air shimmer, and the door is there. No, the door has always been there. She blinks, annoyed, and begins the climb. The rubble is stable enough, and it doesn't take long to make it to the entryway.
On the other side it is nearly pitch black. The light from the door illuminates stairs going down, and some worrying pale shapes on the other side of the chamber. Hian follows the creature to a shelf in a small antechamber, where it puts one paw on a book lying sideways on the shelf, next to some other books. Those are grimier, looking almost mouldy. She picks up the one the creature patted.
"That book, I take it?"
The creature jumps down and scampers back to the stairs. Hian takes a look around, allowing her eyes to adjust to the dark. Yes, there are things here she can use. Small things, probably unimportant. She hopes it is unimportant. Passing a doorway, she spots a nearly-complete skeleton, and swallows, remembering the wizard's words.
"Family members..."
