There is a link to the secret page, somewhere on the
main homepage... But it's not the one in the menu box! If you
have the cunning to look around and find it, then you'll have earned the
right to see what's on there.
If you're asking why on earth you should bother, then you're probably
not the sort of person it's aimed at anyway. But for what it's worth: You
know when you're playing a computer game? One that involves exploring a
map or level of some kind? Well all the best ones have secret areas. From
Super Mario Bros #1 to Mario64, from Doom to Chrono Trigger,
from Quake 2 to Warcraft, they're all designed to encourage and reward
exploration with bonuses of one form or another. There's a thrill to finding
a secret weapon, a concealed treasure chest, a hidden world, that is just
like nothing else. So if you found all points of the Star Road in Super
Mario World (including the one into the centre), then your pride
ought to prevent you from resting until you've found the secret pages on
this site!
If you've got no morals and want to cheat, then you could do unsporting
things like view the page source, which is obviously going to find you
it... eventually. But I want you to know that it's really quite a pitiful
thing to do, searching through the HTML source of a page looking for a
link that people are meant to find from a browser. But if you feel like
it, that's up to you...
There are a few cool things on the secret
page, so I'd advise you to look for it. If you've got any sense of
fun. :-) All the best background images and fancy coloured HTML tricks
have been reserved for the secret pages. If you like pretty websites then
the secret pages are for you.
So, begin the hunt by going...
